The Coronavirus may cause a range of illnesses in humans, and is part of a large family of viruses. COVID-19 can cause a person to have the common cold to SARS.

The WHO China Country Office reported cases of pneumonia of unknown etiology which was detected in Wuhan City China. News sources speculate that the first human infections began on November 2019 or earlier in China. Jinyintan Hospital is where the first 59 suspected patients were admitted and began isolation. It began at the end of December 2019 to early January 2020.
